We are here!!!! We started out the day (Aug.1st) with a Birthday Breakfast for Toot at Cracker Barrel , went home to finish packing, had Birthday cake and opened presents then headed for the airport!! Toot did amazingly well on the plane!! What a trooper.
When we got to China it was August 2nd. Birthday is over!!! The hotel is wonderful. It felt SO good to lay down flat! Toot thought her new brother would be here. She is very anxious to meet him!! We all slept well and got up refreshed. No touring today because we are here a day early. We had 3 other families from our group on the plane with us. We are becoming fast friends. They are both adopting for the first time and it is fun to watch them experience China.This evening , Aug. 3rd, 5 families from our group went to see the Chinese Acrobats. I think I sat through the whole show with my mouth hanging open. Just amazing!!
Only 3 more days til Gotcha Day!!! By now they have taken him from his foster family back to the orphanage. My heart breaks for him as I imagine him feeling alone and frightened with no one he knows around. I pray that he will be able to see how much we love him already. Keep us in your prayers.

So glad you are there and doing well! Have been thinking about you non-stop! We are all well here, thankfully not close to the 35W bridge! The acrobats are amazing. We have seen them on 2 of our trips! Hugs
